The position

As the Manager of Facility Services at Novo Nordisk, you will lead a dedicated team of specialists responsible for delivering exceptional Facility Services across our sites in Denmark. Your role involves overseeing key areas such as GxP cleaning, catering, and postal services. The team daily cooperate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and various business units to align expectations and maintain high standards By setting a clear direction with your team, you will ensure the consistent delivery of reliable and robust services that support the organization’s growth.

 

Some of your responsibilities will be:

  • Lead, engage, and develop your team, fostering a culture of trust, unity, and continuous growth.
  • Drive a strong quality and compliance mindset throughout the Facility Services team.
  • Optimize processes and implement standardizations in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Build and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships to enhance collaboration and service delivery.
  • Manage external supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-quality services in coordination with your team and sourcing teams.

 

Your daily work will be based in Bagsvaerd, but as well you will be visiting other Novo Nordisk’s sites.

 

Qualifications

  • Relevant background in any field related to Service/Facility Management.
  • Proven leadership skills managing direct reports, including the ability to build and maintain relationships and trust, as well as commitment from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to communicate precisely at all levels of the organization, both orally and in writing. Fluency in both Danish and English, spoken and written, is a requirement.
  • You have a strong understanding of and experience with budget planning and financial follow-up, being used to working with service providers and managing larger contracts.
  • Experience working in a high regulated area is a must.

About the Department

In Corporate Facilities, we ensure well-functioning corporate infrastructure, and a safe and engaging workplace for more than 30,000+ colleagues across our Danish sites. We create tangible business results by partnering with all areas of the business and what we do impacts all Novo Nordisk’s employees on their workday.

 

You will be a part of Facilities & Workplace Operations in Corporate Facilities and report to the Director of the area. We deliver vital services for Novo Nordisk and its employees. In this role, you will be heading up our Facility Services and ensure robust and stable services to all our colleagues in Denmark. The position is based in Denmark, where you will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working closely with a dedicated team to support the growth and success of Novo Nordisk.
